Grant in Aid Hostels


 

  • OVERVIEW | The Schedule Tribe population has lower literacy level in comparison with other sections of the society. Due to absence of higher secondary schools in tribal areas, students leave studies after getting primary education.
  • OBJECTIVE | To provide lodging facilities by government registered organizations to the tribal students who wish to pursue higher secondary education

  • INTENDED BENEFICIARIES | Students who are studying in class 8-12
  • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA | The annual income of the family should be up to Rs. 11,000
  • BENEFITS UNDER THE SCHEME | The hostel gets Rs. 1000 per month for 10 months.
  • KEY ACHIEVEMENTS | The hostel gets Rs. 1000 per month for 10 months.
