  • The following benefits of the scheme | The following facilities will be made available in all these hat bazaars.
    (1) Floor with strong roof, (ii) Boundary wall and gate, (iii) Water source, (Tube well) Pumping machinery, Pipeline and ancillary equipment (iii) Clean drinking water facility (5) Feast (6) Electrical connection and adequate lighting (7) Internal paved road (8) Parking arrangement, (9) Separate toilets for men and women (10) Arrangements for selling animals (11) Room for watchman (12) Trash cans (13) Bins (14) Cleaning equipment.
  • Major achievement | The state government has decided to set up a total of 34 hat bazaars in 14 tribal districts of Gujarat. At present 04 hat bazaars are functioning, land has been made available for 14 hat bazaars while the process of acquiring land for other places is in progress. The government has provided Rs.800.00 lakh. This is an excellent example of the development of a tribal community as well as the implementation of a plan that preserves their traditional practices and lifestyles.
